The registration for the “Course in traditional animation and cartoons” is opened; it will take place from January 8th 2008 in Tegueste, taught by the team of La Casa Animada. The contents and materials can be found in the Training section. 

The team of “Canarias Directo” from the TVCanaria (autonomic television of Canary Islands) visits us to make a live broadcast from the Studio along the production of “Kneehigh World”.  

The promotional teaser trailer of MAXI is spread on the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

La Casa Animada finishes the animation for the promotional teaser of MAXI, THE ADVENTURER, with duration of 90 seconds. Based on the characters created by Santiago García-Clairac for the collection “El Barco de Vapor” from the publishing company SM. In November 2007 the production company La Mirada S.L entrusted the animation studio to begin a work bible for this traditional animation feature film project that help, with the animation teaser, to look for co-producers.

The two pilot episodes of “Kneehigh World” were selected at the VIII International Festival of the Animated Image of Pozuelo de Alarcón-Community of Madrid (Animadrid 2007)

The animator Manolo Galiana is invited to de “Specialization in traditional animation course 2007” to see the students work und tell us his experience among more than 35 years in national and international animated productions. Other special guests where the writer and publicity creative Santigo García-Clairac, the script writer and producer Vicente Mora, and the storyboard instructors Joseph Vilageliú, Alfonso Ruiz and Carlos Miranda.

“Kneehigh World” participates in the Animation Show Animayo 2007, in Gran Canaria. Part of the team of La Casa Animada visits the neighbour island, assisting to the projections and the interesting lectures of the animator Raúl García.

The “Introduction to the Traditional Animation and Cartoons” course finishes marked in the Prometheus program in collaboration with the Cabildo of Tenerife and La Mirada Producciones S.L. 

“Kneehigh World” has been selected to participate in the Canarian Forum of the Internacional Cinema Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ’07.

Start of the “Specialization in traditional animation and cartoons course”, the complementary to the previous Introductory Course. The team of La Casa Animada teaches the subjects coordinated by the animator Carlos Miranda.
